RDMS Families! Tomorrow is August 1st which means the start of school is upon us! Please follow the link below to sign your student up for a spot next Monday 8/5, Tuesday 8/6 PM ONLY, or Wednesday 8/7 to pick up and walk through schedules, pre-order school shirts, and/or rent lockers. If you have multiple students who will be attending RDMS, they can be signed up at the same time! RDMS will be closed on Thursday 8/8 and Friday 8/9 for district events. If these times do NOT work for your schedule, you will be given additional times in the future.

The orchestra students from all four middle schools combined for their Spring Concerts and Awards Ceremonies on Monday night at the James H. Clark Auditorium. Our Beginner students performed at 6 pm and our Intermediate students played at 7:30. Both ensembles showcased their hard work and tremendous musical growth over the course of the year at this final performance, and we're so proud of them!
With several weather outlets reporting a high chance of rain on Friday, RDMS will postpone the 5th Grade Fishing Derby at Carl Stuart Middle School to Tuesday, May 21. Please call or email the school if this changes your plans for your student to attend if you have already given permission to go. We appreciate your understanding and are sorry for any inconvenience.
Please join us as we celebrate our students on May 24. Our 5th grade awards will start at 9:10, our 6th grade awards will start at 12:45, and our 7th grade awards will start at 1:40. We hope you can join us.

There will be a Parent Meeting for any student interested in playing 8th grade football next year, on May 13 @ 7:00. This will be at the CJHS Auditorium, use the main entrance on Davis Street by the flag pole.
There will be an Athlete/Parent Meeting on May 9th from 5:30-6:30 in the Buzz Bolding Arena. This is for anyone going into 8th-12th grade who is interested in running cross country next year.
Presenting the THREE newest recipients of their Black Belts in Mr. Gardner's Beginner Orchestra class: Joyce L. (cello), Andie B. (violin), and Alayjah F. (viola)! They each have worked hard to complete a whole series of technique challenges. We are so proud of them!!!

Meet Carli B., one of the violinists in Mr. Gardner's beginner orchestra class. Carli is the first student at Ruth Doyle to earn her Orchestra Black Belt by completing a whole series of Skill Mastery challenges focused on developing individual technique and musical growth.
