Welcome Back!

As students and staff return to school for another year, let’s all do our part in keeping safety at the forefront of our minds at school, at home, and on the road.

·       Watch for school buses.  Slow down and never pass a stopped school bus with its lights flashing.

·       Drive safely in school zones.  Slow down, pay attention, and watch carefully for students, parents, crossing guards, and school staff.

·       Stay alert.  It only takes a few seconds of distraction to change a life forever.

·       School safety starts when we leave our homes. It doesn’t just depend on what happens inside our school buildings.

At all times (sitting, standing, walking, running, bending over, or any other activity) shirts, tank tops, shorts, skirts, and dresses must cover all private areas and undergarments. 3. While in motion, shorts, skirts, and dresses must cover all private areas and undergarments. 4. Dress code for special events, such as graduation, prom, dances, etc., will be determined by the school principal. 5. All yoga pants, leggings, jeggings, etc., shall be thick enough that no undergarment can be seen. 6. All shorts, even those worn for athletic purposes, shall be long enough that no undergarments can be seen. 7. Blankets are not allowed in the building. Items not allowed include but are not limited to the following: 1. sagging pants; 2. jeans or pants with holes above fingertip length; 3. pajamas or lounge-wear; 4. spandex unless covered by another garment that provides front and back coverage; 5. clothing related to gangs 6. see-through shirts unless they are paired with dress-code-appropriate attire; 7. shirts that reveal bare midriffs or backs (midriffs and/or backs should not be exposed when students are standing or moving; when in doubt wear an undershirt); 8. halters, backless shirts, fishnet shirts, or tank tops (Shoulder straps must be at least two (2) inches in width); 9. shirts or tops that reveal the chest area; 10.suggestive slogans, vulgar captions, pictures or advertisements for tobacco or alcoholic products, or logos that depict death or violence; 11. headcoverings, sweatbands, sunglasses, combs, picks, curlers, or rakes 12. soft bottom shoes. CATS IN COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE

Our Wampus Cat family is coming together to support Conway Public Schools students and families this summer!

We're collecting non-perishable food items now through July 21 that will be distributed during our Cats in Community Food Giveaway on July 23 in the Conway High School roundabout between 10:00am till 1:00pm or until supplies last. Every donation helps provide food and resources to families in need during the summer months.

Donation Drop-Off Dates: Now till July 21

Drop-Off Locations:
• Conway High School
• Kroger (Prince Street)
• Walmart (Highway 65)
• United Way

Most Needed Items:
• Peanut butter, canned tuna, canned chicken, soups, chili, canned beans, protein snacks
• Mac & cheese, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, instant potatoes, ramen noodles, boxed meal kits
• Canned vegetables, canned fruit, applesauce, crackers, granola bars, cereal, oatmeal packets, pancake mix, breakfast bars
