Say Cheese! September 18 is National Cheeseburger Day! Mrs. Kingsbury’s class celebrated by reading “Are You a Cheeseburger?”, creating their own cheeseburger, playing cheeseburger trivia, and OF COURSE sampling cheeseburgers! #wcelions

Mrs. Grissom and Mrs. Roberts’ classes had a watermelon day! 🍉 They read the story “The Enormous Watermelon,” counted watermelon seeds, discussed the life cycle, enjoyed some yummy watermelon, and worked on measuring during a watermelon seed spitting contest! It was a fun day of learning! 🍉 #wcelions

Mrs. Mercer’s Kindergarten Class has been conducting some color research this week! M&M factory stated that each package contains 25% blue 💙and 25% orange 🧡M&Ms. So we put that to the test! We found that blue and orange accounted for the most! Research is M&Mmmmmmm good! #wcelions





Mrs. Mercer’s Kindergarten class had a lot of fun with Skittle Science today!
We combined different color Skittles to see what color the water turned. We observed ❤️+💙=💜, ❤️+💛=🧡 and 💛+💙=💚
We also worked in pairs to build Skittles in patterns. We added water and saw the rainbows appear!#wcelions
