Mrs. Harrison's Second Graders have been working on a "How to Make a Pumpkin Pie" informational writing. We decided to try out our own advice and make a pumpkin pie in a cup. You can tell by our faces who's a pumpkin pie fan...and who is not!

Mr. Woodrow Cummins stopped by Mr. Smith's first grade class to read a book about being thankful for the things we have.  The illustrations in the book were done by a local artist!

As we enter this season of gratitude, we’d love to invite you to join us for a special lunch with your student during the week of November 17–21.

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, enjoy a meal, and most importantly, let your child know how thankful you are for them. A few kind words can make a lasting impact and remind our students just how loved and appreciated they are!

Please choose one day that week to come and share lunch with your student. Visitors are asked to bring their own meal, as the cafeteria will be serving regular student lunches only.

We look forward to seeing you and celebrating all that we’re thankful for, especially our amazing students!
