🌟Amy Hubbard - Special Education Classroom Teacher - Ellen Smith Elementary - is a Core Values Champion for the Month of October!🌟
Mrs. Hubbard is AMAZING with her students and their families. She is constantly going above and beyond to make sure her students have what they need to be successful every day at school. She is patient with each student and knows exactly what will motivate them or bring a smile to their face. She has been great with helping staff and students at Ellen Smith learn how to be comfortable and interact intentionally with her class. She is great at making sure they are included in all activities at Ellen Smith. She has great relationships with the paraprofessionals in her classroom and treats them like family. I am so happy we have Mrs. Hubbard on staff and that I get to work and learn from her. She makes inclusion a top priority for her classroom and our school. 🌟Sam Dobson - Custodian at Woodrow Cummins Elementary - is a Core Values Champion for the Month of October!🌟
"Mr. Sam inspires our students and staff on a daily basis! When he notices a student's shoe is untied, he immediately bends down and offers to tie it for him/her. When he sees our cafeteria is short-handed, he just jumps right in and assists with whatever is needed. He walks around and engages in conversations with students during breakfast and lunch. When our teachers call on the walkie-talkie about a custodial need, Mr. Sam responds regardless of whether the need is in his area of responsibility or not. He is a true CHAMPION FOR KIDS!"
CPSD is honored to have Mr. Sam on our team! Thank you for all that you do! #ChampionsForKids #StaffCommittedtoExcellence

The Conway Public Schools Orchestra program presents its annual "La Fiesta Orquesta” event on Monday, November 13, featuring the nearly 300 students of the orchestra program in free concerts throughout the night in the James H. Clark Auditorium. In addition, a taco supper fundraiser is held in the Conway HS Cafeteria from 5-8 pm.
Tickets to the dinner are on sale now and can be purchased from any orchestra student, and donations and ticket purchases can also be made online at conwayorch.square.site.
