On October 17, 2023, the Conway Public School District (CPSD) successfully hosted its first Champion Circle Community Meeting at Bob Courtway Middle School, bringing together families, educators, and community members to engage in an insightful dialogue about the district's achievements, goals, and future initiatives.
🗣️ Next Community Meeting will be a DISTRICT WIDE Champion Circle on November 15, 2023 at the Conway High School Cafeteria from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. This meeting will be led by K-12 Insights to share about feedback and data gathered from the district.

CPSD Transportation Picnic in the Park! As a way to show our appreciation to our transportation staff, the office staff hosted our first Transportation Picnic in the Park. Our drivers, mechanics, and bus attendants were able to bring their families out and enjoy a day of fun, food, and fellowship. #ChampionsForKids

Our CPSD Champion Student for the Month of October is Naeem Ramos-Martinez from Courtway Middle School! Naeem was recognized at our School Board meeting for his "Yes, I can!" attitude as well as being a hardworking all around great student who is kind to everyone. 🚙 Stop #2 for the Conway School Board "CPSD Road Trip" was at Conway High! Members of the School Board and District Leadership were treated to a delightful brunch, prepared by the talented students of Conway Career Culinary Arts. These students not only prepared the meal but also curated an exquisite dining experience. Dr. Worley, Principal of Conway High School, delivered a comprehensive update on various aspects of the school's progress. The highlight of the event was the engaging presentations by the Caring Cats, who shared exciting upcoming events and heartwarming stories. The trip ended with a visit to check out the 🤖Robotics team in action! It was a hit! It's evident that exciting developments are underway at the High School, and CPSD takes great pride in their achievements. Congratulations to CHS on their outstanding work, and may they continue their remarkable efforts! #ChampionsForKids

🌟Shiloh Harder - Middle School Math Instructional Facilitator - is a Core Values Champion for the Month of September.🌟
"Ever since Mr. Harder took his current role, he has worked tirelessly with teachers on curriculum and instruction in the math classroom at the middle school level. Go to any middle school and you will meet teachers with nothing but positive things to say about Mr. Harder. His professionalism and preparedness leading middle school math teachers is phenomenal. We started the year with two long term math substitutes. Mr. Harder worked with those individuals until he knew students were being taken care of every single day. In one class three different long-term substitutes attended and Mr. Harder modeled every day until the teacher was comfortable with the content.
On top of the amount of work he does for this district in curriculum, he planned for and prepped other adults to teach mathematics to our students. It was truly inspiring to watch him back in the classroom solely focused on giving our students the best possible education with their regular teacher on leave. He’s more than deserving of this recognition."

🌟Mr. Mark Dibrell is our Core Values Champion for the Month of September.🌟
"Mr. Dibrell drives a bus to and from Julia Lee Moore daily. Mr. Dibrell is a true champion for kids! When school started, the temperature was 100 degrees, so he brought a cooler of water bottles on his bus and had them ready as students loaded the bus to keep them cool. He did this with his own money. Today a student left their lunch behind on the bus, so after he was finished with his morning route, he made a special trip back to JLM to drop off the student's lunch to him so he wouldn't be upset. Every single day Mr. Dibrell goes above and beyond to serve our students!" Mr. Dibrell, you are a true #ChampionForKids! #StaffCommittedtoExcellence

Food Friday! Did you know that CPSD has a Culinary Arts program through the Conway Area Career Center? The Career Center hosts this opportunity for not only Conway students but for students from 12 surrounding school districts. Recently our Culinary Arts students had the opportunity to learn from our local Charcuterie business, Harvest & Graze, on different types of delicious foods to use as well as incredible techniques to provide a display pleasing to the eye! The students did an amazing job at using their creative culinary skills to design their own charcuterie graze box! Thank you to high school teacher Ms. Tell and team for providing these opportunities of learning valuable skills for our students! #ChampionsForKids
