📚💡 Our Quiz Bowl team had a strong showing at the Russellville Tournament last Sunday!

Competing against 14 teams in their division, they earned 4th place overall—and were only 5 points shy of 3rd! 🎉

👏 Representing Conway High were Roseli Pineda, Greggory Shumaker, Ransom Fassett, Sidney Hinojosa, and Joshua Mendoza.. Big thanks to their coach, Mr. Aaron Penn, for leading the team.!

CHS Yearbook and Photojournalism Students met with a consultant today to work on photo composition and camera settings. A day full of hands-on practice sets them up to capture the year in pictures!

Mr. Cullum's AP Comparative Government classes participated in speed debating to discuss topics related to their democracy unit. Each student was able to work with multiple peers, leading to deep learning and high engagement. Great work, COGO!

The CHS Spanish Club held its first meeting of the year on Thursday, September 18. About 17 students attended to learn about the club’s purposes, vote for officers, and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by creating colorful Mexican paper flowers. Members also enjoyed delicious snacks including coffee, juice, and traditional cookies.

We’re excited for all the activities ahead this year—¡vamos, Spanish Club! ✨

Information regarding tomorrow's football games at LR Southwest. 8th grade game will start at 5:00 followed by the 9th grade game. Gates will open at 5:00. Fans will enter through the front gate. Tickets can only be purchased on line prior to game day and must be done before 4:00 on game day using the link below. All students must be accompanied by a parent per LRSD Policy.

Clear Bag Policy
All attendees must follow the LRSD clear bag policy. This policy is designed to increase safety and speed up the entry process.

One clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12".
One clear, one-gallon plastic freezer bag (Ziploc-style).
One small clutch (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5") for personal items.
Medically necessary items will be permitted after proper inspection.
Phones, cameras, and binoculars may be carried outside of a bag or case.

🎖️ A special visit to CHS! 🎖️

Brigadier General Chad Bridges, Secretary of the Arkansas Department of Military and The Adjutant General of Arkansas, visited campus last week to personally congratulate Dr. Worley and our JROTC program for having the highest number of recruits for the Arkansas National Guard in the state. 💪👏

General Bridges was joined by SSG Rob Rankin and SFC Matt Reynolds during the visit. We are proud of our JROTC students and their outstanding accomplishments! 💙✨
