✨ Fresh Cuts for Winter Break! ✨
We’re excited to offer free haircuts for CHS students on Friday, December 12, 2025 thanks to our partners at Picture Perfect Barbershop (815 Hogan Ln., Suite 6).

Professional barbers will be on campus, and we’re working to add female stylists for simple touch-ups or light straightening. The exact time of the event will be determined on Thursday, December 11, and students will also be notified on that day if they have secured a spot.

Inaugural Blue/White Matches for Conway Wrestling! What a night!

Our Chi Sigma Chi Step Team brought the energy this morning at Carolyn Lewis Elementary! 🔥👟 They greeted students at drop-off and then performed for the 4th graders—who surprised everyone with a performance of their own! 🎶👏

The result? An epic and incredibly fun step battle between the CHS Step Team and the Carolyn Lewis 4th Grade Step Team! 💙✨

🌎🍽️ Spanish 3 turned up the heat last week!
Señora Tedford’s classes put their cooking skills — and their Spanish — to the test. Students researched an authentic Hispanic dish, translated the recipe, cooked it at home, and then presented the full process to their classmates.

From Argentina to Chile, Spain to Colombia, Mexico to Venezuela, our students explored flavors from across the Spanish-speaking world and shared some truly delicious creations!

What a tasty way to learn! 🌶️✨

Angel Paws is a CHS tradition sponsored by Caring Cats. Each paw represents a holiday gift for a Conway High student or family in need. Students can pick up an Angel Paw in Room 258 (Mrs. Bell) all week.

To support our Angel Paw families, we’re also collecting small hygiene items during our themed dress-up days:

🌟 Monday – Christmas Morning Monday
Wear: comfy clothes
Bring: shampoo, body wash, or bars of soap

🧦 Tuesday – Sock It to Me, Santa
Wear: festive or crazy Christmas socks
Bring: hats and gloves

💙 Wednesday – Have a “Blue” Christmas
Wear: Conway blue
Bring: deodorant or face wash

🎁 Thursday – Ugly Sweater Party
Wear: your ugliest Christmas sweater

Our AP Biology students had a sweet time in lab on Friday—well… until the Gymnema tea kicked in! 😅🧪
As part of their Signal Transduction Pathways investigation, students sampled all the major flavors (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami) before drinking Gymnema tea, which temporarily blocks the sweet receptors on your tongue. Mind. Blown. 🤯🍬

They also discovered that thanks to our unique DNA, we don’t all taste things with the same intensity! 👅🧬
