With 182.5 years of combined teaching experience, our math teachers bring deep knowledge and advanced training to the classroom, including multiple master’s degrees, specialist degrees, and doctorates in education. The department offers 15 math courses, including 3 AP courses and 3 concurrent-credit courses through UACCM, giving students meaningful academic pathways and opportunities to earn college credit.
Our teachers see math as logical, empowering, and essential to problem solving, and they bring that mindset to their work every day. Before students headed off for Christmas break, the Conway High School National Honor Society partnered with Mrs. Lindsay Spicer’s kindergarten class at Carolyn Lewis Elementary to spread some holiday cheer 📚🎄
Mrs. Spicer hoped each of her students could head into the break with a cozy Book Buddy stuffie to cuddle up with and a Christmas book to enjoy, and NHS was excited to help make that wish a reality. Knowing the lasting impact reading can have, NHS members were proud to support this meaningful project and help foster a love of reading in our youngest learners.
