Arkansas State Championship Tournament Congratulations to the following CHS Speech & Debate team members for qualifying for the STATE TOURNAMENT! In order to qualify for the Arkansas State Championship tournament, a student has to compete at a sanctioned tournament and meet qualifying standards. The CHS Speech & Debate team has secured 59 ASC qualifications! The Arkansas Communications & Theatre Arts Association (ACTAA) is the sponsoring and governing body that hosts the Arkansas State Championship each year which is sanctioned by the Arkansas Activities Association. Students will compete May 2-3, 2025. The CHS Speech & Debate team is coached by Mrs. Casey Griffith.

Hutson is proving that first-timers can pack a punch, surprising audiences with both his acting and vocal talent. When he’s not lighting up the stage, you’ll spot him sprinting laps as a proud member of the CHS Track Team! 🍫 Hadassah Smith (Ethel Teavee) — A seasoned veteran of the CHS stage, this marks her third musical performance!
