The CSMS 7th Grade choir was invited to sing at the Arkansas Traveler's baseball game on Friday, May 17th. They got to sing with a beautiful rainbow in the sky behind them, and they got to watch the fireworks at the end of the night :)

Last presentation of the year for 5th grade! Mrs. Clark's students researched and created a narrative, expository, or persuasive essay, and illustrated what they wrote about in a nature jar.

Shout out to all the amazing people who helped make this celebration happen:
The CSMS students who did the extra reading work to make Strive, their parents for encouraging them, Fifth, sixth, and seventh-grade reading teachers for keeping up with Strive points all year, Ms. Masters, Mr. Blacknall, & Ms. Bingham for chaperoning and taking pictures, Mr. Moon for overcoming obstacles to organize transport, Mr. Moon, Mr. Lampe, and Mr. German for driving, Ms. Mandi Chase for our to-go lunches, 5th-grade teachers for watching our non-strivers while we were away, Nurse Siegel for taking care of our special needs, donations from Ms. Rehm, CSMS parent donors, and Peace Lutheran for giving so generously that every Striver went for free, Ms. Dawson for puzzling through attendance on the day of our trip, Ms. Shuetzle for securing the check, and finally, a huge thank you to Ms. Campbell for greenlighting the Strive trip and creating a school culture that promotes literacy!
Thank you all!

Our awesome PTO showered us with goodies all last week. Friday they treated us to a Water Bar and we have been enjoying it ever since. I believe it’s going to be a permanent addition next to our Coffee Bar! Thank you PTO for being so good to us!
