Sixth grade students at CSMS studied star constellations and their origins in order to create a work of art. Each student designed their own constellation. For stars, students created circuits on the back of their art using copper tape, batteries, and LED lights. This project connected art across multiple disciplines. Mr. Noland was awarded a Conway Public Schools Foundation Classroom Impact Grant at the beginning of the school year.

The guest speaker Friday for D3 was lieutenant Christopher from the Arkansas National Guard. The biggest thing he shared was when you have goals and dreams that you want to achieve, your discipline and determination, overcome any feeling of quitting.

Thank you to Chicken Salad Chick for sponsoring lunch and CSMS parents for the Stoby's gift card. Pictured is Mrs. Elizabeth Harness, October Teacher of the Month.

We are super proud of our D3 students and their willingness to serve before, during, and after the fall festival! A sign of leadership is a willingness to support others and these students did exactly that.

Despite the rain Fall Festival was amazing!!!The dessert and craft auction raised over $1700. This money will be used for student incentives throughout the year. Thank you to everyone that came out. If you ask any CSMS teacher it's one of our favorite nights of the year.
