Mrs. Pillow's students have been learning about the Paleolithic and Neolithic Stone Ages. They researched Otzi the Iceman who lived around 3300 B.C. His frozen body was found by two hikers more than 5,000 years later in the Alps in Europe, in September 1991. His clothing, tools, and even the contents of his stomach have helped scientists understand how prehistoric people lived. They still research Otzi today.

Today, Mrs. Sanders' Cat Connections class discussed how the labels that we create for ourselves and others can have a negative or positive influence on the way we feel. The class chose to focus on the positive attributes of their classmates and physically wrote down what they admire about each other, shared them, and wore them proudly!
