To become a Community Champion (volunteer), simply follow the steps below:
1. Read the Guidelines
2. Apply
3. Secure all required background checks (see guidelines for varying requirements)
4. Attend the district training Tuesday, September 17 at 9 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. at the Administration Building, 2220 Prince Street.

Conway Public Schools will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024, in observance of Labor Day. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 3. Thank you!
We understand transportation changes happen occasionally, but please keep your child’s mode of transportation as consistent as possible.
Transportation changes must be EMAILED by 2:30 each day to your child’s teacher, Mr. Lewis (lewism@conwayschools.info), Mrs. Pope (popec@conwayschools.info), AND Mrs. Hull (hullm@conwayschools.info). Changes will not be accepted over the phone.

Tomorrow is the big day...the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! Here's a reminder of some of the back to school and 1st day tips we shared at open house last week:
🎒Doors open at 7:30.
🔔 Tardy bell rings at 8:00.
🚸Kindergarten students may arrive at 9:00 on the first day only.
✏️Parents may walk their student to class on the first day only. Tuesday is Independence Day!
✂️ Students need to bring a backpack (and supplies if they haven’t already.)
📚Keep a change of clothes in your student’s backpack.
🚌Be sure your student’s teacher knows how your student will get home.
👋🏽Dismissal begins at 3:15.

If your student rides bus 17 (formerly bus 135) or bus 96 they will be picked up 10 minutes earlier and arrive home in the afternoon 20 minutes earlier.
