The Conway Public Schools Orchestras will present their annual "La Fiesta Orquesta" Concerts and Taco Supper fundraiser on Thursday, October 30th. Free public performances are held in the James H. Clark Auditorium:
5:30 pm Intermediate Orchestra (city-wide 7th graders)
6:15 pm Conway High School Orchestra
7:30 pm Beginner Orchestra (city-wide first-year players)
8:15 pm Conway Junior High 8th and 9th grade orchestras
An adult taco salad meal ($15) and a child soft taco meal ($10) is served in the Conway High School Cafeteria from 5-8 pm. Meals are catered by Make-a-Meal in Conway! Meal tickets are still available at the door. In addition, donations can be made in person and online at conwayorch.square.site.
Come hear the almost-300 students in the orchestra perform throughout the night, and support our music education goals through donations and by purchasing meal tickets! For more information, visit the Orchestra Booster Club website at conwayorchestras.weebly.com.

*PLEASE ARRIVE NO SOONER THAN 5:45 AND NO LATER THAN 7:55 PM for PICK-UP*
Fifth and Sixth Grade Student DANCE Pick Up
5th and 6th grade traffic will enter our bus loop from Padgett Road.
Students will be picked up at the awning at the cafeteria/gym lobby.
Traffic will then exit onto Padgett Road

Seventh Grade Student DANCE Pick Up
Seventh-grade traffic will enter our normal car rider line from College Ave.
Seventh-grade students will be picked up on the sidewalk in front of the building.
Traffic will then exit back onto College Ave to avoid Padgett Rd

In the case of rain, ALL grades will use the 5th/6th grade pickup loop off Padgett Road.

Tuesday - “Shine like an Idol, Be the Star of Your Own Life” Fight the Demons of Drugs K-Pop Demon Hunter Inspiration Day Wear bright colors or black
Wednesday - “Team up Against Drugs”
Wear your favorite team jersey or workout clothes
Thursday- "Give Drugs the Boot" Stay on the right trail and live drug free. Wear your favorite boots, and jeans or western wear.
Friday- "Life's a Puzzle Full of Characters". Wear your Halloween Costume
or twin day! Friends are a key piece of of the puzzle. Support each other and stay drug free. Dress like a friend.

They acted out story problems with manipulatives, drew visual models, and wrote matching division equations—all to uncover the why behind dividing fractions.

This Veterans Day, we are excited to honor and celebrate the incredible veterans in our community at our RDMS Veterans Day Assembly. We want to highlight the bravery, sacrifice, and service of our local heroes.

Monday, October 13 - Pink Out Day. Students are invited to wear as much pink as possible.
Tuesday, October 14 - Teacher Work Day
Wednesday, October 15 - Parent-Teacher Conferences: Conferences will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a dinner break for teachers from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. Families are invited to visit teachers to discuss their students' progress.
Friday, October 24 - School PTO Halloween Dance 6-8 p.m. Students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes or come dressed for our PTO's theme, "Boots and Beauties." Ticket pre-sale Monday-Tuesday, October 20-21, during lunch times. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
School dress code applies to these fun events, and we ask that no full face paint or masks be worn. Thank you for your continued support as we continue to work together to make this a great year!
