In Mr. DeStefano’s 6th grade world history, RDMS students stepped back in time into an Ancient Egyptian marketplace! Each student took on the role of a farmer, fisherman, trader, or artisan and bartered with their classmates to collect the goods they needed. The room was buzzing with negotiations as students learned about bartering, supply and demand, scarcity, and trade routes along the Nile River.

It was amazing to see how creative they were in making deals and how excited they were to complete their secret missions. History truly came alive today in our classroom!
