Pumpkin Pie in a Cup was a success! Our Caring Cats and Mrs. Willcutt’s WIN made pumpkin pies today. The group practiced new verbs, followed multi-step directions, and made an easy, delicious pumpkin treat. And the best part… Mr. Stacks approved!

Did you know that most people replace their mattress every 8–10 years? If your mattress has sprung a few too many springs, now’s the perfect time to lay down a little support for your school and rest easy knowing you helped raise money for a good cause!

Congratulations to 7th grade cello player Henry Garner, who made 4th chair cello at the Arkansas South Region Orchestra auditions on Saturday, October 11th. He was one of 10 cello players selected for the Junior High Concert Orchestra, competing against other 7th, 8th, and 9th graders from all over southern and central Arkansas! He will attend the South Region Orchestra clinic on November 7-8, working with a guest clinician and the top musicians across the region. Way to go, orchestra!

Mrs. Willcutt and Mrs. Daniel's WIN classes had a wonderful time working together to bake delicious chocolate chip cookies! Students practiced teamwork by taking turns measuring ingredients, mixing the dough, and following each step of the recipe. Along the way, they learned new cooking vocabulary and applied real-life math skills while measuring and counting. The sweet smell of freshly baked cookies filled the room, and everyone enjoyed tasting the results of their hard work and cooperation! We had enough to share with office staff. Mrs. Oates gave it two thumbs up with a smile.

Mrs. Willcutt's reading class added a touch of fun to fluency practice by using “googly eye readers”! Students loved wearing their silly readers while tracking words, which made reading practice lively and engaging. This playful activity encouraged focus, expression, and confidence as students read aloud—proving that learning can be both effective and full of laughter!
