October 16 is National Boss's Day! RDMS celebrated our wonderful bosses today! Thank you, PTO, for the AMAZING gifts and delicious lunch for the RDMS administration team! A special shoutout to K. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Mrs. Hendricks' RDMS students read texts by Gary Soto, Sandra Cisneros, and Pat Mora. They then created papel picado and wrote themes or poignant lines from the text to create a literary papel picado banner.

Friday, October 24 - School PTO Halloween Dance 6-8 p.m. Students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes or come dressed for our PTO's theme, "Boots and Beauties." Ticket pre-sale Monday-Tuesday, October 20-21, during lunch times. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
School dress code applies to these fun events, and we ask that no full face paint or masks be worn. Thank you for your continued support as we continue to work together to make this a great year!

During WIN time yesterday, the RDMS Caring Cats and Mrs. Daniel's class were able to use measurement skills to create a yummy back to school smoothie! Student's observed the difference in the solid and liquid ingredients. It was a sweet treat! We love RDMS!
