Simon's November Students of the Month 🎉
These students go above and beyond in demonstrating the Simon Standard!
5th grade: Trinity and Keon
6th grade: Titus and Aubree
7th grade: Deonjray and Sapphire

Mr. Robert goes above and beyond to make sure our classrooms are ready for learning and that our spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming. Every morning, he starts the day with a warm “Good morning!”—a simple gesture that sets such a positive tone for everyone he meets.
He works tirelessly to keep our 5th grade hallway shining, and he’s always ready to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s making sure tables are spotless, turning on lamps to create a warm atmosphere, or responding quickly whenever someone needs help—he does it all with kindness and a smile.
His dedication, hard work, and uplifting attitude make a lasting impact on our entire school. He doesn’t just meet the Simon Standard… he exceeds it.
So, please join us in congratulating our Simon Standard Employee of the Month — Mr. Robert!

November Teacher of the Month! 💙
Ms. Helms brings Science to life for her students every single day. She goes the extra mile to make sure her lessons are exciting and hands-on, using creative visuals and activities that help students really see and experience the scientific process. Her classroom is a place where curiosity is encouraged, and every student has something to look forward to when they walk through the door.
Her colleagues also describe her as kind, uplifting, and always willing to lend a helping hand—whether it’s supporting a student, a fellow teacher, or a new staff member finding their way. Over the summer, Ms. Helms even helped her coworkers navigate professional development and made sure everyone felt welcomed and supported.
Ms. Helms’ dedication to her students and her team truly shines through in everything she does. She goes above and beyond to ensure her students succeed and creates a positive, collaborative environment for everyone around her.

Ms. Jackson is our Simon Standard Teacher of the Month and Mrs. Holloway is our Simon Standard Employee of the Month for October!
Ms. Jackson brings heart, dedication, and a genuine love for learning to everything she does.
Ms. Jackson is in her very first year as a classroom teacher, and already she’s making a big impact. After working as a paraprofessional, she’s taken on the challenges of leading her own class with grace, determination, and a constant drive to grow.
Students and staff alike have noticed her kindness, her eagerness to learn, and her unwavering support for both students and families.
Ms. Holloway is a paraprofessional who supports Ms. Jackson and her classroom with patience, kindness, and incredible consistency. She doesn’t wait to be asked — she steps up, offers help, and always puts students first. One nomination said, “She offers without being asked,” and that really captures her spirit.
She’s known for working well with others, being a calming presence for her students, and showing up each day with a strong commitment to our school community. As one colleague shared, “We can count on her.” And we do — every day.
Thank you both for all that you do behind the scenes and in the classroom. Your reliability, compassion, and teamwork are what make Simon stronger.
Thank you Sonic for showing your appreciation to our Employee of the month.
