We are SO excited to welcome our Little Cats back to Woodrow Cummins Elementary! 💙🤍 As we kick off the first week, please keep these important reminders in mind:
🍎 Lunch Visitors: Students may not have lunch visitors dine with them until after Labor Day. Thank you for helping us make a smooth transition into the school year!
🎒 Kindergarten Drop-Off: Kindergarten parents should walk their children into the building each morning this week at 7:45 AM through the front doors.
🚗 All Other Students: All other students must be dropped off through the car rider line. Please remember that we have ONE lane for drop-off:
➡️ Enter from the north side of the building
➡️ Travel around the building
➡️ Continue to the drop-off zone near the cafeteria on the south side
⏰ Please Be Patient! The first week of school can bring a little extra traffic and congestion as everyone gets back into their routines. We appreciate your patience, kindness, and cooperation as we work to get all of our Little Cats safely to school each morning. 💙
Thank you for helping us make the first week a great one! We are so happy to have our Little Cats back! 🐾📚

Welcome Back!
As students and staff return to school for another year, let’s all do our part in keeping safety at the forefront of our minds at school, at home, and on the road.
· Watch for school buses. Slow down and never pass a stopped school bus with its lights flashing.
· Drive safely in school zones. Slow down, pay attention, and watch carefully for students, parents, crossing guards, and school staff.
· Stay alert. It only takes a few seconds of distraction to change a life forever.
· School safety starts when we leave our homes. It doesn’t just depend on what happens inside our school buildings.
Let’s work together to ensure every student and staff member arrives at school and returns home Safe and Sound.
The volume of traffic will increase this week. Please be patient as we work together getting back in the routine of drop off and pick up.
Welcome back, Wampus Cats!
