The juvenile has been charged with Threatening to Commit an Act of Mass Violence on School Property, a Class C felony, and is currently being held at a juvenile detention center.
At this time, no other suspects are believed to be involved.
This incident remains under active investigation.

Our 3rd grade students will begin their Summative ATLAS Reading and Writing assessments tomorrow and continue on Wednesday. We are so proud of all the hard work they’ve put in, and we want to set them up for success!
Here are a few ways you can help your child do their best:
✅ Get a good night’s sleep – Rest helps with focus and confidence.
✅ Eat a healthy breakfast – Fuel for the brain is important!
✅ Arrive on time – Being punctual helps students start the day calmly.
✅ Encourage a positive mindset – Remind them to take their time and do their best.
✅ Pack any needed items – Glasses, water bottle, or anything they use daily.
Let’s work together to help our students feel confident and prepared. We believe in them! 💙
