Mr. Nail’s class made chemical reaction potions for Halloween on Tuesday. They did this by mixing baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring in a cauldron with cockroaches, bats, and spiders. When the baking soda and vinegar combine, they create a carbon dioxide gas, water, and sodium acetate through a chemical reaction.
A big thanks to Gabriel’s mom, Tara, for helping supply the materials for this fun seasonal experiment! #wcelions

We are partnering with UCA for a fun reading challenge! Attached is the reading challenge worksheet for students to complete. There are 9 sets of 5 basketballs. Each basketball represents 20 minutes of reading.
If a student brings this sheet, completed, to the UCA Men's Basketball game on January 3rd, 2024 they will receive free admission! Tip-off is set for 6:30 PM.
Please contact Kristen Oitker at koitker1@uca.edu with any questions.
