Kindergarten friends have been practicing writing their numbers! #wcelions
It's Kindergarten Color Week! We want to help our kindergarten students learn colors. We are dressing up in a certain color for each day of the week! We invite all students to help our kindergarten friends out, and wear the specific colors listed below.
Important Message: No School Monday, September 4th, 2023 for Labor Day!
We hope to see you at our first PTO meeting this Friday, August 25th at 8:10 AM
📌REMINDERS FOR THE FIRST DAY 📌 🚗PLEASE make sure your child's teacher knows how they will be getting home from school each day, especially the first day. This is VERY important information! ⏰Kindergarten students (only) will have a delayed start time of 9:00AM on Monday, August 21st. PTO will be hosting a "Tears & Cheers" breakfast for parents/guardians of our new Kindergarten students in the WCE Cafeteria immediately following drop off. 💙All other grade levels will begin school on Monday, August 21st at 8:00AM. If your student will be eating breakfast, please arrive between 7:30 and 7:45AM. 👟tennis shoes would probably be best this week as our new mulch is still pretty loose on our playground 📄Please return any/all forms to your child's teacher. #wcelions
Woodrow families, if you are looking for your district transportation informaton, the InfoFinder option can still be found on the new website! Be sure to follow these instructions so that you can find it with ease!

It's HOT out there!
We are excited to see our Lions on Monday! 1st - 4th grades will begin at 8:10 and kindergarten will begin at 9:00. We are looking forward to welcoming guests for lunches AFTER Labor Day. Thank you for giving us the first couple of weeks to get processes and procedures down:-)
Don't forget to grab a Back to School scavenger hunt when you come to Meet the Teacher Thursday night from 4-6PM! We are going to draw for some amazing prizes on the first day of school.

Meet the Teacher will be Thursday, August 17th from 4:00-6:00PM. Shaved by the Block will be here with shaved ice for purchase. We will also have our Report to the Public during this time. We can't wait to see everyone!
IMPORTANT MESSAGE: CPSD and local authorities will be conducting a crisis and safety drill at Julia Lee Moore Elementary today starting at 8:30am. JLM campus will be closed to the public until 3:30pm.
Returning Registration is now open! Snapcodes are currently being resent to the guardian email on file. Please feel free to contact your child's school if you need help or more information!
Hey parents and guardians! 📣 We're excited to announce that returning registration for the upcoming academic year is in full swing! 🎒 Snapcodes, the unique registration codes for each student, have started going out and will be sent over the next few days.
⏰ Important: If you haven't received your child's snapcode by August 1st, please make sure to contact your child's school. We want to ensure a smooth registration process for everyone, and our team will be more than happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
