📌 Important Check-In Reminder:
As we pilot a new front office check-in/check-out system, all adults will be required to have a valid form of identification scanned before being allowed into the building to attend parties or other school events, even if it was previously scanned with our old system. This process takes a bit longer the first time your ID is scanned than our old system.
⏱️ To help make party day run smoothly, we STRONGLY encourage parents/guardians to stop by the front office anytime TODAY during school hours to have their ID scanned ahead of time. This will greatly expedite the check-in process on class party day.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we roll out this new system in every attempt to keep our students and staff safe. We can't wait to celebrate with our students!

The district is now accepting parent referrals for Gifted & Talented services for the spring testing cycle.
GT services are designed to support students who demonstrate advanced learning needs in areas such as
reasoning, problem-solving, and creativity. Identification is based on multiple measures and is not something
students need to study or prepare for.
🗓 Parent Referral Deadline: March 9
📄 Parent Referral Form: https://forms.gle/h7Lz51cMTfAjUres7
Please note: Teachers have been sent a separate referral link via email. Teacher Referral deadline is March

Scald burns are one of the most common burn injuries in children, but they’re preventable. Keep kids safe by turning pot handles inward, keeping hot drinks out of reach, setting water heaters no higher than 120°F, and never leaving children unattended near hot water.
If a burn happens: cool with cool (not cold) water, remove clothing from the area, cover with a clean dry cloth, and seek medical care.
Let’s work together to prevent burns and protect our kids.

CPSD Return to School Update
We are excited to welcome students and staff back to school on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, after a week of closures caused by the recent snow and ice storm.
All schools will operate on normal start times; however, snow bus routes will be in effect to ensure safe transportation for students. Families are encouraged to review snow route information prior to Monday morning.
🔗 Snow Bus Route Information:
CPSD Snow Routes
Our teams have continued working to prepare school campuses for a safe return. They have done a great job with sidewalks but please utilize caution in shaded areas. Also, a big shout out to the City of Conway, Faulkner County, and groups who were also a part of the clearing process. We can not thank you all enough for the hard work!
We will provide updates regarding snow make-up days as soon as that information becomes available.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to a smooth return to school on Monday.

⚠️ School Closing
Conway Schools and offices will be closed Friday, January 30th, 2026.
While the warmer temperatures over the past two days have helped improve some conditions, travel throughout the district including access to side streets, driveways, and neighborhoods continues to be impacted.
Our crews are continuing to work diligently to clear each of our campuses and are preparing for a safe return to school soon.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize safety and continue to monitor conditions.

⚠️ School Closing
Conway Schools and offices will be closed Thursday, January 29th, 2026, due to icy road conditions throughout the district.
We continue to monitor conditions closely as crews work to address sidewalks, parking areas, and campus access. Many bus routes, particularly rural routes, remain impacted, and overnight low temperatures will continue to delay a safe return.
The decision to close is based on ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and families. We will communicate any additional closures or delays as conditions evolve.
Please stay safe and warm Wampus Cats!
