Did you know that most people replace their mattress every 8–10 years? If your mattress has sprung a few too many springs, now’s the perfect time to lay down a little support for your school and rest easy knowing you helped raise money for a good cause!

Kylee Ritchey, Ronnia Evans, Mailee Cushing, Shelby Holder, Haley McCarron, and Magnolia Smyers recently took part in HIPPY Arkansas’s Teddy Bear Clinic — a fun, hands-on event that helps young children feel more comfortable with doctor and hospital visits.
Using stuffed animals as “patients,” children learned how to check vitals, give pretend shots, and apply bandages — all with help from our EMR students, who played the role of caring medical professionals.
Through this experience, students practiced real-world communication and empathy skills while supporting community health education. 💙
Way to go, EMR team, for making healthcare learning bear-y fun! 🩺🐻

TIPS OFF TOMORROW 🚾 🏀
Two graphics drop today featuring the top players in the tournament and it’s STACKED with talent.
Premier Distinction is the highest degree in the NSDA Honor Society! This is an outstanding achievement. Fewer than 3% of NSDA members earn Premier Distinction prior to graduation! This milestone is a celebration of the hundreds of hours Ian has spent preparing, practicing, and competing to hone his communication and leadership skills. Along with earning Premier Distinction, Ian is also an NSDA Academic All-American.
Ian is a 3-year member of the CHS Speech & Debate team and has competed across the state of Arkansas, along with Philadelphia, Iowa, Kentucky, and Virginia. Ian competes in Congressional Debate, Mock Trial, Student Congress and Original Oratory.

The Academic All American award recognizes high school students who have earned the degree of Superior Distinction within the NSDA Honor Society by competing in speech and debate events at tournaments; completed at least 5 semesters of high school; demonstrated outstanding character and leadership; and earned a GPA of 3.7 or higher. Fewer than 2% of National Speech & Debate Association student members earn the Academic All American award every year. This honor is an indicator of Ian’s academic achievement and competitive success.
Callie is a 3 year member of the CHS Speech & Debate Team. Callie competes in Congressional Debate, along with Student Congress and Mock Trial (Philadelphia). Upon graduation, Callie will be attending Central Baptist College.

The Conway High School Robotics Club kicked off their season at Fayetteville High School this past Saturday, November 8 — and what a start! All three teams advanced to the elimination rounds! 🎉 We couldn’t be prouder of the dedication, teamwork, and ingenuity these students bring to the table. 💡✨
They’re already back in the workshop, fine-tuning their robots for the next challenge.
And speaking of challenges… mark your calendars! 🗓 This Saturday, November 15, Conway Robotics will host the Turkey Throwdown Robotics Tournament 🦃⚙️ — welcoming high school robotics teams from across the state right here in the Conway High Cafeteria. Come cheer on our teams and witness some high-tech action in person!

The Arkansas Student Congress, the state’s oldest model legislative event, gives students the chance to experience the democratic process first-hand—writing and debating legislation, running caucuses, serving in committees, and presenting their ideas on the House & Senate floor at the State Capitol.
A huge congratulations to all our delegates for representing CHS with skill, intelligence, and teamwork! Special thanks to Mrs. Casey Griffith for coaching our talented Speech & Debate team.

CHS Transition classes took a trip to the Heavy Equipment Operating Academy in Bee Branch to explore what it takes to train and work in this exciting field.
