Fall Testing Cycle
Students currently in 3rd grade or above may be referred for Gifted & Talented consideration. A referral begins the evaluation process and does not guarantee identification.
A student may benefit from referral when they learn quickly and make meaningful connections, think deeply, creatively, or in unusual ways, show advanced reasoning, curiosity, or problem-solving, or need greater depth, complexity, or academic challenge.
No special preparation is needed. Gifted & Talented identification is based on multiple measures.

If your child is already 11 years old or will turn 11 yrs. before September 1, 2026, he/she will
need the Tdap and the MCV4 vaccines before returning to school this year. If your child is
entering 7 th grade and has not received the MCV4 vaccine, he/she must have this before
returning to school this year.
The deadline for receiving these immunizations is October 1, 2026. If your child
does not have the required immunizations by this date, he/she will be sent home
until immunizations are updated. There will be NO exceptions!
