Dear parents/guardians, If you received a letter stating that your child needs immunizations, it is a REMINDER letter that the 11 year shots are due by Oct. 1, 2025, which is next school year. Some of your children may not have had their 11th birthday yet but will turn 11 after school lets out for the summer. I send out reminder letters before I am off contract for the summer. 7th grade boys basketball tryouts are May 8th and 9th from 3:45-4:45 p.m. in the CSMS big gym. Physicals must be completed and brought to tryouts. 7th grade trip to the Junior High. May 8th 7th Grade Band Spring Concert is Thursday, May 8th at 6:30 p.m. D3/G3 field trip to the movies, May 9th at 8:15 a.m. All library books are to be returned by Friday, May 9th. All boys’ athletics Parents’ Meeting is May 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the CSMS gym. Parents and athletes must be present. This is for UPCOMING 7th grade boys. CSMS 7th Grade Band Spring Concert is Thursday, May 8th at 6:30 p.m.

Beginner Orchestra Instrument Selection and Meet-and-Greet Saturday, May 17th, drop in between 10 am and 2 pm Conway High School Music Complex (directly between the James H. Clark Auditorium and the John McConnell Stadium on the Conway High School campus) Your child will be able to play on each of the string instruments and decide which one they want to pursue next year. We will also be able to size them appropriately and answer any questions you may have about orchestra. In addition, you’ll find out about instrument rental and purchase options and get to meet your child’s teacher! We can’t wait to see you!

Mobile Pack Permission Slips are due back tomorrow, May 2nd. If you are new to what the Mobile Pack is as a school, with some help from all of our other Conway Middle Schools, we will pack 150,000 meals to starving children around the world. We will be packing in 3 shifts per day of about 100-110 students over 3 days. We would love to make this a family affair if you wish to volunteer with us for a day or a shift, please indicate on your student's permission slip.

ATLAS Testing Starts Thursday, April 24: Please remember that students should bring their charged Chromebooks to school each day. Testing starts at 8:30 a.m. April 29 - ELA April 30 - Science May 1 - Math Volleyball tryouts for the upcoming 7th grade girls are April 29-30 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Must have proper shoes and clothes to participate in tryouts. Must be present during all days of tryouts. All paperwork must be uploaded by April 28th at noon before you can tryout.
