Our students have been busy learning how to pour! Through hands-on practice, they’re strengthening fine motor skills, coordination, and independence—one careful pour at a time 💪🧠. We love watching their confidence grow as they focus, try, and succeed. Great job, little learners! 💙

One group created an adorable giraffe collage 🦒🎨, paying attention to visual details, while the other group practiced putting pieces in order from largest to smallest 📏🔽.
Both activities helped build visual differentiation, size comparison, and early sequencing skills! 🌟🧩

❄️ Winter Break Reminder (Dec 22–Jan 2)
All CPSD schools and offices will be closed for Winter Break December 22–January 2.
We’ll see you back on Monday, January 5, 2026! Stay warm and enjoy the holidays! ⛄🎁

Our preschoolers have been busy learning all about pets!
We kicked off the week by reading Charlotte and The Rock, a fun story that sparked lots of imagination and giggles. After reading, we asked our students what they thought it would be like to have a pet rock of their own. They shared what their rock might need, how they would care for it, and what kind of pet it could be.
Then the creativity began! Each child painted their very own pet rock, gave it a special name, and proudly told us how they plan to take care of it once it comes home.
We loved seeing their creativity, responsibility, and big imaginations shine! 🪨💛

Using a variety of art materials, they planned, constructed, and problem-solved to bring their creations to life. It was amazing to see their logical thinking and creativity work hand-in-hand! 🧠🔧📐

The children have been cutting, painting with cotton balls, and exploring detail work using Q-tips. It’s been wonderful watching them strengthen their coordination while getting creative! 🌟🧠✨

🔢 We strengthened numeracy by counting passengers headed into the Vroom and Zoom Room.
✈️ We expanded spatial awareness and observation as we counted windows on the airplane.
🎶 And we boosted phonological awareness by matching rhyming words — a key foundation for early reading success!
Such a great day of purposeful, brain-powered learning! 💙🧠📚

From crawling through the tunnel, to giggles under the parachute, to dancing out all our wiggles 💃🕺… indoor days can be just as fun as outdoor ones!
Here’s to staying cozy, active, and full of smiles no matter the weather! ☔💙

In our Right Brain classroom, the children explored patterns in a fun and creative way—using fruits! They loved arranging colorful fruit pieces to create patterns, repeat sequences, and discover new combinations. It was a hands-on, visual, and engaging way to build early math skills while having lots of fun! 🍓🟡🍇

We’ve been busy exploring all kinds of hands-on activities!
🔹 Sorting and matching things that go — building early math and classification skills.
🔹 Using geoboards to create shapes — strengthening fine motor skills and understanding geometry in a fun way!
🔹 Drawing different types of cars in Art Appreciation — encouraging creativity while learning about transportation.
Our learners are having a blast while building important skills through play and discovery! 🌟
