Spring Break Announcement
Conway Public Schools will be on Spring Break from March 23-27, 2026. Students and staff will return on March 30, 2026. We hope you all have a wonderful break next week!
Our students are strengthening their working memory by participating in fun memory games! These activities help them practice remembering information, staying focused, and thinking carefully as they play.
Our students have been exploring the beauty of nature through creativity and hands-on learning! From making pictures inspired by the natural world to designing beautiful flower arrangements, they are discovering the colors, textures, and patterns all around us. 🌿
We are learning all about keeping our bodies healthy! From caring for our teeth to understanding how our bodies work, students explored simple ways to stay strong and feel their best.
Healthy habits help build happy hearts, bright smiles, and growing minds! 😊
Our students are putting their creativity and imagination to the test, designing, building, problem-solving, and bringing their ideas to life. It’s amazing to watch their confidence grow as they turn simple materials into incredible creations!

🍎 Mrs. Carter goes above and beyond every single day in her classroom. She creates engaging, meaningful lessons and activities that inspire her students to learn and grow. Her classroom is a warm, safe, and inviting space where students feel supported and encouraged. It’s no surprise her students adore her! We are so grateful to have Mrs. Carter as part of the Sallie Cone family.
🌟 Mr. Rose truly exemplifies what it means to be a team player. He is always willing to help wherever he is needed and brings incredible energy to our school. He creates exciting and engaging activities for his class, and his enthusiasm makes a lasting impact on his students. They love him, and so do we! The students have been busy designing and building their very own roller coasters and towering skyscrapers. From twisting tracks to sky-high structures, their creativity and teamwork have been absolutely amazing to watch!
We love seeing their imaginations grow bigger and bigger as they explore, build, and problem-solve together. The future architects and engineers of the world are definitely in the making! 💙✨
We’ve been learning about Robert Robinson Taylor, a groundbreaking architect and the first African American graduate of MIT. His creativity and determination inspired us to design and build structures of our own!
Using blocks and loose parts, students worked together to create dentist offices, doctor’s offices, and hospitals — exploring how buildings help keep our communities healthy and strong. 🏥🦷🩺
Their imaginations (and teamwork!) were hard at work. We love seeing our future architects in action! 💛
Garrett Morgan’s invention helped make our roads safer by adding the caution (yellow) light between stop and go — something we still use every single day! We love learning about inventors who made a big difference in our world.

Snow Day Make-up and Schedule Adjustments effective Tuesday February 17, 2026 Information:
We want to provide an update regarding snow day make-up plans and schedule adjustments across our district. All adjustments outlined below will take effect on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Elementary Schools
There are no schedule adjustments and no additional days to make up for elementary campuses.
Middle Schools
Middle schools have adjusted their schedules but Start and Stop time remain the same. All Middle school campuses will not have any additional days to make up.
Conway Junior High School (CJHS)
CJHS has adjusted its schedule and will not have any days to make up.
9th Grade Start Time: 7:55 a.m.
9th Grade Dismissal Time: 3:35 p.m.
8th Grade Schedule: No changes
Conway High School (CHS)
CHS has adjusted its schedule and will have one make-up day on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
1st Bell: 7:50 a.m.
1st Period Start Time: 7:55 a.m.
Dismissal Time: 3:35 p.m.
There are no changes to bus routes for any campuses.
We appreciate your flexibility and support as we make these adjustments to ensure instructional time is maintained for all students.
