👃👂 We practiced sorting and matching parts of the body, learning how each part has an important role — a great way to build observation and reasoning skills.
🔢 We also worked on counting and matching objects, reinforcing number recognition and one-to-one correspondence through hands-on learning fun!

Our little thinkers were hard at work strengthening their fine motor and cognitive skills! 💪
🔢 We practiced clipping and counting clothespins, building coordination and number sense.
✋ We explored our sense of touch by sorting objects that were hard and soft — a hands-on way to boost observation and classification skills.
🎨 And during Art Appreciation, we carefully observed and responded to an art photo, using our words and emotions to make connections between what we see and what we feel.

Our students have been learning all about emotions — understanding what they are, how to express them, and most importantly, how to handle them safely. 💬💖
They worked together to create their very own book — a special tool filled with ideas, stories, and strategies to help others recognize and manage their feelings in positive ways. 📖✨
Our little artists had an amazing time exploring their creativity! Using paint, markers, and glue, students expressed themselves in vibrant colors and unique designs. Each masterpiece reflected their imagination, problem-solving, and growing confidence! 💡🌈

The classroom was filled with creativity, problem-solving, and plenty of excitement as students learned how air, gravity, and design all work together to help things glide safely to the ground. 🌬️💡
We love watching our Right Brain learners think like engineers, create like artists, and have fun while doing it!

Before fall break, we sent home special bags inviting families to go on a nature walk and collect treasures from the world around them. Our classroom was filled with excitement as the children shared what they saw, found, and experienced on their walks!
From colorful leaves and pinecones to tiny rocks and twigs, each item told a story of exploration, creativity, and connection with nature. 🌿✨ The children loved showing and telling about their adventures and listening to their friends’ discoveries too!
We love seeing learning come to life through family experiences and creative expression. 💛

Our Left Brain Classroom has been busy exploring and discovering all kinds of new ideas! We’ve been learning about measurement by comparing things that are long and short — even making our own lines with playdough to see the difference. We’ve also talked about nutritious foods that help our bodies grow strong, like sweet potatoes and pumpkins, and then used our art tools to draw and color them beautifully. Along the way, we’ve been learning more about our amazing bodies, matching and naming parts like the intestines, lungs, and kidneys.
Every day in the Happy Me Healthy Me room is full of curiosity, creativity, and healthy learning! 💪🎨📏

We’re thrilled to recognize Ms. Griffin as our October Staff of the Month!
Her nomination said it best:
“Today, Ms. G went above and beyond to support one of our students. Earlier, she helped deescalate a situation by calmly talking with him and promising to come see what he was building. True to her word, during her own break, she came to our classroom and spent time building with him. He was so happy she came! Ms. G didn’t just make a promise to calm him down—she followed through, and it made a real difference.”
Ms. Griffin, your kindness, patience, and dedication truly shine. Thank you for always putting students first and for showing what it means to go above and beyond! 💛💙

Our littlest learners are fully engaged through tactile experiences that spark curiosity and creativity! Using colors, patterns, and manipulatives, we explore the world with our hands and our hearts. 💛🌈
These hands-on activities support imagination, focus, and joyful learning—all key to fueling the right brain!

We made personal connections to literacy by using letter blocks to spell our names! The tactile experience of arranging the letters helps our little learners connect with the special meaning of their names, sparking creativity and building confidence along the way! 💫

Our puzzle play sparked imagination and empathy as we explored colorful, expressive faces. Each face encouraged our little learners to think about people, emotions, and diversity—helping them connect with others in a meaningful way. 🌍✨
In our Right Brain classroom, we nurture curiosity and creativity while building emotional awareness and understanding. ❤️

Our Zoom & Vroom Room was full of movement, imagination, and exploration! 🚙💫
We sorted numbers on our number sorting wheels, zoomed cars along roads at the light table, and built our own block roads for endless adventures! 🛣️✨
These activities sparked creativity, fine motor skills, and a lot of teamwork—making learning feel like a high-speed race! 🏁

We dove into how animals use their mouths, which led us to explore bird beaks! Using different tongs, we experimented with how birds might pick up objects—sparking lots of creativity and curiosity! 🍃✨
Then, our imaginations took flight as we made our own bird nests, connecting our learning to nature and the world around us. 🌿

Yesterday morning, we had some very special guests greet our students as they arrived at school! A big thank you to the Conway Police Department, Conway Public School Police, and the Conway Fire Department for starting our day with smiles, high-fives, and community spirit. 💙❤️
Our students felt safe, seen, and supported — and we are so grateful for the amazing partnerships that help make our school feel like home. 🏫✨

We explored the colors of fall in Arkansas using droppers and watercolors to create beautiful leaves. 🍁
This hands-on activity helped us express creativity, practice fine motor skills, and connect with the changing season—all through color and play! 🍃✨

We’re building brains through creativity, life skills, and emotional learning!
🎨 Art Makes Me Happy!
We used a variety of materials to recreate famous art—exploring color, texture, and how art makes us feel.
👕 Folding Clothes
Learning practical life skills helps us build independence both at school and at home!
🌋 A Volcano of Emotions
We mixed baking soda and vinegar to explore big reactions—and big feelings! We talked about what to do when emotions bubble over.

Our Left Brain kiddos are learning all about Arkansas — and we kicked things off by recognizing and naming the Arkansas state flag! 🏴✨
They loved exploring the colors, shapes, and stars on the flag, and talking about what makes it so special to our state. It’s been so fun to watch their curiosity grow as they connect to the world around them! 🌍💬
