Mrs. Wilcox’s students celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by decorating shamrock-shaped cookies. They worked carefully to design their cookies and showed lots of creativity while celebrating the holiday together.

It was a sweet way to bring a little St. Patrick’s Day cheer into the classroom while making special memories with friends!

Not only does officer Flowers keep us safe, he motivates us to be our best. He is reliable, hard working and trustworthy, just like these students from Mrs. Russell’s class.

Mrs. Wilcox’s 2nd graders celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a fun science experiment! 🍀

Before we began, students made predictions about what would happen to an arrow placed behind a glass of water. Would it bend, change directions, or disappear? Then we tested our ideas by placing the arrow behind a glass filled with water and carefully observing what happened.

Students were amazed to see the arrow appear to change directions! It was a great hands-on way to explore how light travels through water while practicing prediction and observation skills. Science + a little St. Patrick’s Day magic made for a fun day of learning! 🌈
