Conway Public Schools has been awarded a $2,500 grant from the Arkansas Community Foundation to support our backpack food program! This initiative helps fight food insecurity by providing nutritious, easy-to-prepare meals for students to take home.
A huge thank you to Ms. Lani Jennings-Hall, board member of the Arkansas Community Foundation, for visiting and presenting this generous donation to our district and building leaders. 🙌 These funds will go toward purchasing food items and backpacks, ensuring that more students have consistent access to healthy meals outside of school hours.

📢 Early Dismissal Today – 1:00 PM 📢
Due to the potential for severe weather during our regular dismissal time, Conway Public Schools will dismiss early today at 1:00 PM to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
🔹 Buses will run normal routes.
🔹 Car rider procedures will remain the same.

This week, we’re excited to spotlight Jackson Longo, Class of 2013!
Jackson works as an engineer in Tulsa, OK, specializing in solar power installation and EV charging infrastructure projects.
School Memories:
He has fond memories of his teachers cheering him on and encouraging a spirit of inquiry. Jackson appreciated how the school nurtured his curiosity and allowed him to explore various interests, from music and theatre to debate and writing. He now recognizes that these experiences were just as important as his academic achievements, shaping him into the well-rounded individual he is today.

Jackson cherishes his time in All-State Band and Jazz, as well as playing Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast.

These exceptional students joined other outstanding young singers from across the country to perform in one of the most esteemed choral events in the nation.
🎼 The ACDA National Honor Choir provides a unique opportunity for top-tier student vocalists to work with renowned conductors 👨🎤🎵, rehearse challenging music 🎶, and perform at a national level 🌟. This week, we’re excited to spotlight Tamara Heard, Class of 2010!
Tamara has been teaching and coaching for eight years and is currently at North Little Rock Middle School, teaching Career Exploration and coaching basketball and track. Previously, she was an assistant basketball coach at Jacksonville High School, where her team won conference championships two years in a row.
School Memories:
Tamara loved building great relationships with teachers, enjoying pep rallies, and having fun with friends.
Personal Highlights:
Winning the basketball championship in 2008 and conference championships in a newly built arena were standout moments.

Coach Janet Taylor and Coach Irons were significant influences during her time at CPSD.

Abigail went to UACCM right out of high school, initially unsure of her career path. Now, she’s in her second semester of the Registered Nursing program at Baptist Health College in Little Rock and has fallen in love with nursing, eagerly looking forward to the future!
